Grand Island Elementary Winter Program

Grand Island Elementary School students presented The Grizzly Extravaganza on Wednesday evening, December 12 for parents and the entire community of Grimes. Each of the classrooms performed through singing, dancing and playing instruments. Mr. Rector, the district’s music teacher, led the student performances. At the conclusion of the program, the entire student body sang Here Comes Santa Claus as they welcomed the jolly fellow to the stage. Children were then invited to sit on Santa’s lap. It was a joyful event.
